Laura Shunk was born at 9:53 in the morning on December 17, 1985.  She knows this because her mother documented it dutifully for her firstborn, and Laura’s early compulsive tendencies caused her to stare at the clock, counting down the seconds until she was another year older, until well into her formative years.

These days, Laura likes to pretend she’s a writer when she’s not being a consultant, entrepreneur, waitress, sales person, reservationist, or future lawyer.  Sometimes, people go along with it and hire her to write something.  Mostly, though, Laura writes this blog when she has something self-indulgent to say about things she likes.  You can decide for yourself what those things are, because given Laura’s penchant for whims, it’s probably true that she likes just about everything in the right situation.
